Latter-day Saint religious education enrollment exceeds 1 million

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reports significant growth in its global religious education programs. Enrollment in its Seminaries and Institutes of Religion has exceeded 1,090,000 youth and young adults, including 85,695 individuals of other faiths. This represents a nearly twofold increase in enrollment from friends of other faiths over the last two years.

Church leaders attribute this growth to the “Invite a Friend” initiative and calls from President Dallin H. Oaks for youth to share religious education opportunities with their peers.

In Utah, the church recently hosted its fourth annual conference for young single adults at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. The event featured keynote addresses, gospel-centered classes, and social activities designed to foster connection among the rising generation.
