Cyprus and Latvia draw 0-0 in UEFA Nations League match

The Cyprus and Latvia men's national football teams played to a 0-0 draw in their UEFA Nations League C League match held in Riga.

Cyprus controlled much of the play and created several opportunities, including shots hitting the woodwork, but failed to convert. Cyprus coach Apostolos Mantzios expressed disappointment, stating the team deserved a win based on their performance, but urged players to keep their heads high ahead of their upcoming home match against Armenia.

Latvia's coach, Paolo Nikolato, praised his players' attitude and defensive effort, noting the mental difficulty of recovering from a previous loss. Despite the draw, Latvia remains in the competition, while Cyprus looks to secure a victory in their next fixture to stay in contention for promotion to the B League.
