Latvia beach volleyball duo reaches CEV Nations Cup quarterfinals

Latvia's men's beach‑volleyball pair Martiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots secured a place in the quarter‑finals of the CEV Nations Cup after a 2‑1 victory over the Austrian duo Anneš Mūls and Kristian Sērs. Their win follows a 1‑1 draw with Israel and a 2‑0 triumph over Portugal in earlier group matches. The Latvian team will meet a Hungarian pair in the quarter‑finals.

The Latvian women's team also performed strongly in the tournament, with duos such as Tīna Graudiņa/Anastasija Samoilova and Līva Ēbere/Deniela Konstantinova advancing to the knockout stage, aiming to qualify for the 2026 European Championship.
