Latvia U23 men's 3x3 basketball team reaches World Cup final

The Latvian U23 men's 3x3 basketball team reached the World Cup final in Wuhan, China, after defeating Australia 21:18 in the semi-finals. The team, consisting of Kristofers Karlsons, Mārtiņš Zviedris, Dāvis Skreivers, and Mārtiņš Bumbieris, overcame a deficit during the match, with Zviedris contributing 9 points to secure the victory.

In addition to the basketball success, Latvian athletes achieved notable results in other sports. The Latvian 3x3 basketball team secured a European Cup title, while beach volleyball players Kristians Fokerots and Gustavs Auziņš won the U-22 European Championship. Līva Ēbere and Daniela Konstantinova earned silver in the women's U-22 beach volleyball category. Furthermore, the Latvian men's national volleyball team advanced to the knockout stages of the European Championship after a decisive win against Turkey.
