Latvia U16 men's basketball team wins Group B at European Championship

The Latvia U16 men's basketball team has secured first place in Group B at the European Championship in Romania, following three consecutive victories. The team defeated Italy (82:70), Turkey (88:63), and most recently Czech Republic (95:80).

Key individual performances included Bendžamins Jānis Beruē, who scored 33 points and recorded 22 rebounds, and Markuss Jahovičs, who contributed 21 points. The team's progression moves them into the round of 16, where they are scheduled to face Serbia.
