Latvian beach volleyball duos are performing strongly at the European Championship in Stare Jabłonki, Poland. The women's pair of Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova secured a 2-0 victory (21:18, 21:17) against Ukraine's Anhelina Hmiļa and Valentina Davidova, following an earlier win against Estonia. This second consecutive victory places them at the top of Group A, which guarantees them a spot in the round of 16.

In the men's tournament, the duo of Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots also secured a 2-0 win (21:16, 21:17) against Germany, positioning them to compete for first place in Group D against Austria's Filip Valler and Moritz Pratschnig-Telsnig. Meanwhile, the pair of Edgars Točs and Gustavs Auziņš is fighting for third place in their group to advance to the play-off stage.

Winners of both the men's and women's tournaments will earn qualification for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
