Latvian beach volleyball duos compete in European Championship

Latvian beach volleyball duos are competing in the European Championship in Stare Jabłonki, Poland. The women's pair of Tīna Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova enters the tournament as the top seed in the competition.

Graudiņa and Samoilova, who previously won European titles in 2019 and 2022, have set a goal to reach the quarter-finals and compete for a medal. Their first group stage match is against the Estonian duo Helena Hollas and Liisa Remmelg.

In the men's competition, Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Kristians Fokerots are ranked second in the world. They are placed in Group D and will face fellow Latvian pair Edgars Točs and Gustavs Auziņš in their opening match.
