Lau Kong attends veteran actor gathering with wife of 50 years

Veteran TVB actor Lau Kong, 80, recently attended a gathering of senior Hong Kong actors alongside his wife of over 50 years. The event, which included industry figures such as Dayo Wong and Gallen Lo, highlighted the couple's enduring relationship and healthy lifestyle.

Lau, who has significantly reduced his acting workload since leaving TVB in 2020, has focused on his health and companionship. Following a stroke at age 33 that left him paralyzed, Lau credits his wife's dedicated care for his recovery. To maintain their well-being, the couple adopted a daily running routine after receiving health advice from actor Chow Yun-fat.

Lau, whose career spans over five decades and more than 200 productions, has transitioned into a semi-retired life, prioritizing travel and physical fitness with his spouse.
