Veteran Hong Kong actor and stuntman Lau Yan, widely known by his screen persona ‘Fish Head Yun’, was recently spotted by netizens on the MTR, sparking online admiration for his healthy appearance and friendly demeanor. Lau Yan has a career spanning over half a century, having appeared in more than 130 films. He received the Professionalism Award at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2019. The actor is the younger brother of the late Pak Pik, the original actor to play Guo Jing in the 1976 version of ‘The Legend of the Condor Heroes’. Lau Yan entered the industry through his brother's introduction and experienced significant success during his peak, at one point earning as much as 100,000 HKD in a single day.
