Lauana Prado joins The Voice Brasil as coach, replacing Duda Beat

Singer Duda Beat announced she will not return as a coach on The Voice Brasil for its new season, choosing instead to focus on recording her fourth studio album with producers Lux & Troia and co‑producer Iuri Rio Branco. Her departure creates an opening that has been filled by sertaneja artist Lauana Prado, who will take her seat on the panel alongside Mumuzinho and the duo Matheus & Kauan. The upcoming season, set to premiere in September on SBT and Disney+, will also see the exit of coach Péricles due to scheduling conflicts and will introduce a new confinement format for contestants. Prado, previously known as Mayara Prado, participated as a team member on Carlinhos Brown’s coach panel in the show’s first edition in 2012 and has a background in Brazilian music competitions.
