Laujar de Andarax to Hold VII 'La Timolina' Color Run for Mental Health Inclusion

On Saturday 8 August, the municipality of Laujar de Andarax in Almería, Spain, will host the seventh edition of the Carrera de Colores “La Timolina”. The event is a family‑friendly outdoor race that combines sport, music and colour.

Organised jointly by the town council, the Provincial Deputation of Almería and the mental‑health association “El Timón”, the run aims to raise awareness of mental‑health issues and promote social inclusion. Local officials including mayor Almudena Morales, provincial sports deputy María Luisa Cruz and association president Cristina González‑Acién highlighted the importance of using sport to foster empathy, healthy habits and community solidarity.
