Poland weather forecast predicts storms and temperature shifts
Poland is facing significant weather shifts as autumn approaches. According to the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW), the country will experience a period of temperature anomalies. While September has been milder than usual, with temperatures in some regions reaching up to 26 degrees Celsius, a cold front is expected to move in.
Forecasts indicate a period of instability characterized by storms, heavy rain, and wind gusts reaching up to 70 km/h. This transition will bring a noticeable cooling effect, with temperatures dropping significantly in many regions. Looking further ahead, November is projected to be warmer and sunnier than average, potentially offering a ‘golden Polish autumn,’ while December may see higher temperatures and a mix of rain and sleet before returning to seasonal norms in early 2027.
