Laura Blodek Appointed Secretary of Finance for Posadas Municipality

Mayor Leonardo "Lalo" Stelatto of Posadas announced the appointment of public accountant Laura Blodek as the new Secretary of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, succeeding Martín Leiva Varela who resigned after a seven‑month tenure. Blodek, who previously served in the finance secretariat under former mayor Orlando Franco and held senior roles with the provincial road agency and international development banks, will continue the administration’s focus on fiscal responsibility, budget balance and service improvement. The mayor highlighted her technical experience as essential for maintaining the city’s recent fiscal surplus and ongoing infrastructure projects. Blodek pledged to sustain the financial discipline and coordinated teamwork that have driven Posadas’ transformation in recent years.
