Laura Cabanes wins bronze in 200m butterfly at European Championships

Spanish swimmer Laura Cabanes won the bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris. The 20-year-old achieved a personal best time of 2:07.21.

In a closely contested final, Cabanes secured third place by just 0.19 seconds ahead of Ireland's Ellen Walshe. The gold medal was won by Great Britain's Keanna MacInnes with a time of 2:05.90, while Denmark's Helena Rosendahl Bach took silver with 2:06.14.

This marks Cabanes' first major international senior medal. Previously, she has been a European junior champion and a semifinalist in both Olympic and World Championship competitions.
