Laura Cataldo to perform piano recital in Vibo Valentia

Pianist Laura Cataldo will perform a recital on September 24 at 6:00 PM at the former Jesuit College in Vibo Valentia. The event is part of a musical season promoted by AMA Calabria and the Fausto Torrefranca State Conservatory of Music.

Cataldo, a native of Vibo Valentia born in 2001, is an alumna of the Fausto Torrefranca Conservatory, where she earned her second-level academic diploma in piano with honors under Maestro Paolo Pollice. She is currently pursuing advanced studies in piano duo.

The program features a comparison between 19th-century composers Johannes Brahms and César Franck. The performance will include Brahms’s Four Ballades for piano, op. 10, and Franck’s Prélude, choral et fugue.
