Laura Cosoi welcomes fifth child, Nina Elisabeta

Actress Laura Cosoi has welcomed her fifth child, a daughter named Nina Elisabeta, born via natural delivery on July 30, 2026. The infant weighed 4.4 kilograms.

Regarding the name choice, Cosoi stated she followed her intuition rather than a specific rule. The name Nina has various cultural connections, including links to Saint Nino of Georgia, and meanings in Spanish and Quechua. The name Elisabeta is of Hebrew origin, meaning ‘God is my oath’.

Two weeks after giving birth, Cosoi shared updates on her postpartum recovery with her followers. She noted that breastfeeding has been helpful in her physical recovery and mentioned using a postnatal belt (size XS) to assist her transition. She emphasized the importance of patience with one's body during the postpartum period.
