Laura Ingraham alleges some Republicans want Trump to lose Congress

Fox News host Laura Ingraham has alleged that many Republicans in Congress secretly desire for the party to lose the midterm elections. She suggested that some lawmakers might feel relieved to be in the minority to avoid the burden of passing legislation.

During a discussion with Larry Kudlow, Ingraham criticized Republicans for failing to effectively message their economic accomplishments, specifically noting that personal incomes grew more under the Trump administration than under the Biden administration. This comes as Republicans trail Democrats by eight points on the generic congressional ballot and face challenges regarding voter concerns over the cost of living.
