Trump ally and right-wing activist Laura Loomer is facing widespread condemnation following a series of racist social media posts targeting several prominent Black women in U.S. politics. Loomer used derogatory slurs to describe Florida Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon, U.S. Representatives Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley, former Representative Cori Bush, and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Loomer specifically targeted Nixon, who recently won her party's primary, calling her a “ghetto Black communist” and making disparaging remarks regarding her speech. Nixon responded by referencing a video in which Loomer appeared to eat dog food.

The backlash has been bipartisan. Maryland Governor Wes Moore accused Loomer of using racism to drive online engagement, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called her a “stone-cold racist.” Notably, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a prominent Republican, also denounced the comments as “nasty, hateful, [and] racist,” signaling a rift regarding Loomer's influence within the MAGA movement.
