Laura Papendick returns to RTL after maternity leave

RTL sports presenter Laura Papendick is returning to television following a two-month maternity leave. After the birth of her second son in mid-June, the 37-year-old moderator will resume her professional duties this Sunday.

Papendick announced her comeback via Instagram, noting that she will be reporting live from Cottbus starting at 1:00 PM for the second division football conference. She expressed excitement about returning to the field, stating, "I feel that I am already missing my job again - I simply love what I do and need it to some extent."

Papendick has been part of the RTL sports team since 2021. She and her partner, Alexander Hindersmann, became parents for the first time in June 2023.
