Laura Pausini and Robbie Williams to Sing FIFA World Cup 2026 Closing Anthem

At the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026, scheduled for July 19 at New York’s MetLife Stadium, Italian singer Laura Pausini will join British artist Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger to perform the FIFA anthem “Desire.” The trio will sing the song that mixes English and Spanish just before the final match between Spain and Argentina.

The performance is part of a broader entertainment program that also includes a halftime‑style show featuring BTS, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and others, and supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise US$100 million for education and football projects for children worldwide.
