Laura Pausini reportedly withdraws from Viña del Mar Festival 2027

Speculation regarding the lineup for the 2027 Viña del Mar International Song Festival has been disrupted by reports that Italian singer Laura Pausini will not participate in the event. Although negotiations were reportedly advanced and included the possibility of her receiving a Platinum Seagull award, sources indicate she has declined to perform, causing concern among organizers.

While the official lineup remains unannounced, several names are rumored to be under consideration for the festival, which is scheduled to take place between February 22 and 27, 2027. Potential international acts include Foo Fighters, whose Latin American tour dates align with the festival, as well as Aitana, Arcángel, and Luis Fonsi. There is also interest in maintaining a K-pop presence following previous editions.

In the comedy category, Mexican comedian Sofía Niño de Rivera has been mentioned. For the national Chilean lineup, rumors suggest the involvement of artists such as María José Quintanilla, Los Vásquez, and the band La Ley.
