Costa Rican journalist and actress Laura Rodríguez recently shared details regarding her television debut 26 years ago. After working as a singer, Rodríguez transitioned to the screen in August 2000 after responding to a casting call for the music channel VM Latino.

Rodríguez recounted that her audition involved an unexpected live test. She was advised to tell the producers that if they did not see her again, it was because she had performed poorly. Following the broadcast, she was offered a position with the channel.
