Laura Rogora completes 9b+ Bibliographie in record time
Italian climber Laura Rogora has completed the route Bibliographie (9b+) in Céüse, France, marking her first career 9b+ ascent. She is only the third woman in history to climb a route of this difficulty, following Brooke Raboutou and Janja Garnbret.
Rogora achieved the ascent in a record-breaking six days of attempts, a significantly faster progression than previous climbers. Following this milestone, she also repeated the route Pornographie (5.14d) on her third attempt and completed several other high-difficulty climbs, including L’arcademicien des crépis (5.14b).
This successful period follows Rogora's decision to focus on rock climbing over the competition circuit this year. She noted that while her initial visit to Céüse was intended to be exploratory, her rapid adaptation to the movements turned the trip into a successful mission.
