Laura Sarabia responds to allegations regarding official flights

Former official Laura Sarabia has addressed allegations made by Eva Ferrer, a former advisor to Verónica Alcocer, regarding the alleged movement of money and drugs on official aircraft during the administration of Gustavo Petro.

Sarabia stated that international flights using official aircraft follow Air Force protocols, including luggage weighing and cargo controls that are documented. She suggested that the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Inspector General’s Office review these flight records to verify the facts.

Regarding her tenure as director of the Dapre and chief of staff, Sarabia maintained that she had no knowledge of irregularities involving the former First Lady or her officials. She emphasized that officials have a legal duty to report crimes immediately rather than years later, urging that allegations be supported by evidence rather than just interviews.
