Laura Vonda linked to personal relationship controversy

Laura Vonda, a presenter for the Latvian Television (LTV) news program ‘Panorāmas’, has reportedly become involved in a personal controversy regarding a new relationship.

According to reports from the magazine ‘Kas Jauns’, Vonda is allegedly in a romantic relationship with Jānis Matēvičs, a manager in the cybersecurity maintenance department at LMT. The situation has drawn attention because Matēvičs is reportedly not yet divorced from his wife, Larisa Matēviča, with whom he has three children.

Vonda previously made headlines in the spring of 2025 when her divorce from LTV news operator Ivans Milov, following 12 years of marriage, became public. Neither Vonda nor Matēvičs has provided official comments regarding their relationship.
