Lauren Cohan and Jake Epstein to star in Eric Stoltz rom-com

Lauren Cohan and Jake Epstein are set to lead the ensemble cast of the independent romantic comedy “Both Sides Now” (working title). Directed by Eric Stoltz, the film is written by Hailey Lustig and Robbie Roth.

The story follows a group of lifelong friends approaching age 40 who reunite at a Jewish summer camp to celebrate a bachelor weekend for Eddie (Epstein). The reunion becomes complicated when Eddie’s best friend invites Erin (Cohan), Eddie’s first love, to the festivities.

Inspired by the lifelong friendship of co-writers Lustig and Roth, the production began on September 19 in Muskoka, Ontario, and is scheduled to conclude by October 20, 2026. The film will also feature six original songs written by Roth and performed by the cast. The ensemble includes Erich Bergen, Justin Chatwin, and Brian Norris.
