Laurențiu Reghecampf faces lawsuit from Esperance Tunis

Esperance Tunis has decided to sue football manager Laurențiu Reghecampf, seeking approximately $600,000 in damages. The Tunisian club alleges that Reghecampf conducted unauthorized negotiations with FCSB and failed to attend team training sessions before his contract termination was officially finalized. Esperance officials stated they intend to take the case to FIFA to claim compensation for the remainder of his contract, which was set to run until June 30, 2027.

This legal dispute follows a previous successful litigation by Reghecampf against Esperance Tunis. In that instance, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled his dismissal was unjustified, awarding him over €540,000 in compensation and bonuses.

In related developments within Romanian football, FCSB has officially parted ways with head coach Marius Baciu following a period of poor results. Baciu is reportedly nearing an agreement to join CS Oxigen in Liga 3. Concurrently, FCSB is set to officially present Laurențiu Reghecampf as their new manager.
