L’Aurora wins 22nd Bianca d’Aponte Award

L’Aurora has been named the winner of the 22nd edition of the Bianca d’Aponte Award, a competition for singer-songwriters held at the Teatro Cimarosa in Aversa. In addition to the title, L’Aurora received a 1,000 euro scholarship and a plaque for best performance, along with an invitation to participate as a guest in the next edition.

Other notable recognitions include the “Fausto Mesolella” Critics' Prize, awarded to Rosita Brucoli, who also earned support from the Maieutica Dischi label for song production. Mabi received the plaque for best lyrics, while Bambina was honored for best music. The competition provides various professional opportunities for finalists, including potential performances at the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague and Officina Pasolini in Rome.

The event featured guests such as Marina Rei and Peppe Barra, the latter receiving a career achievement award from the City of Aversa. The award, dedicated to the memory of the late singer-songwriter Bianca d’Aponte, serves as a platform for emerging talent to connect with industry professionals.
