Global Citizen Festival 2026 announces lineup with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean
The 2026 Global Citizen Festival is scheduled for September 26 at the Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park. Headliners Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean will perform a special set celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Fugees’ landmark album, ‘The Score’.
The musical lineup also includes Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, country artists Lainey Wilson and Shaboozey, and the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER. The event will be hosted by Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman, with appearances by Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King.
Beyond the music, the festival serves as an advocacy platform to pressure world leaders to fund antipoverty initiatives. This year’s campaign focuses on three primary goals: providing education and healthcare access to 2 million children, supporting 1.5 million smallholder farmers, and expanding clean energy access to 2.5 million homes.
Tickets are not sold through traditional means; instead, attendees can earn them by completing advocacy actions on the Global Citizen app. A new option allows fans to secure tickets via a $25 charitable donation, which will benefit New York City organizations, including the City Parks Foundation and groups supporting those experiencing homelessness.
