Lausanne HC signs American defenseman Connor Carrick

Lausanne HC has officially signed American defenseman Connor Carrick to bolster its defensive lineup. The 32-year-old arrives as a short-term solution following a shoulder injury to Swedish defenseman Erik Brännström, who is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.

Carrick, a right-handed defenseman with experience from 242 NHL games, is already familiar with the Swiss National League. He played for HC Lugano last season, recording 23 points (10 goals and 13 assists) in 49 qualification games.

One report indicates the contract runs until Christmas, while another mentions a contract through December 24, 2026, with an option for extension. The signing aims to provide immediate depth and experience during a dense period of the National League schedule.
