Lausanne to host inaugural Les Vaudoiseries artisan event
The city of Lausanne will host the inaugural edition of ‘Les Vaudoiseries’ on October 2 and 3, 2026. This event aims to bolster the attractiveness of the city center and support local merchants by facilitating collaborations between downtown businesses and artisans or creators from the Canton of Vaud.
Organized by the DECLIC association—a collective of Lausanne's primary economic actors including the SCCL, Trade Club Vaud, and Lausanne Tourism—the event features over 40 unique partnerships. These collaborations will present exclusive objects, artworks, or experiences, such as a chocolatier working with a paper cutter or a fashion boutique hosting an art embroiderer.
The initiative is supported by both the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud, serving as a strategic effort to create new connections between local commerce, regional talent, and the public during a period of challenges for proximity retail.
