Lautaro Blanco leads Boca Juniors in assists during 2026 season

Lautaro Blanco has emerged as a key figure for Boca Juniors in 2026, recording 10 assists so far this season. This figure surpasses his previous annual records of nine assists in 2024 and three in 2025.

Under the technical direction of Rodolfo Arruabarrena, the 27-year-old left-back has become a consistent starter, missing no matches in the second half of the year. His offensive contributions, including precise crosses and set-piece involvement, have provided tactical width to the team's attack.

Blanco's assists have been distributed across various opponents, including Universidad Católica, Barcelona (Ecuador), Huracán, Sarmiento, Estudiantes de La Plata, San Lorenzo, Racing, Instituto, and Talleres. Due to this improved form, there are reports that Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is analyzing the possibility of calling Blanco up for future international matches.
