FC Barcelona agrees to sign Dominik Livakovic from Fenerbahce

FC Barcelona has reached a verbal agreement with Fenerbahce to sign Croatian international goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. The transfer is estimated to cost approximately €4 million, consisting of a €2 million base fee and €2 million in performance-related incentives.

Under the agreed terms, Livakovic is not expected to join the Barcelona first team immediately. Instead, the club plans to loan him out for the 2026/27 season to ensure he maintains competitive playing time. Reports suggest a potential loan destination is Dinamo Zagreb, where he previously played.

Livakovic is intended to join Barcelona permanently in June 2027 to serve as a senior backup to Joan Garcia. His arrival is timed to coincide with the expected departure of veteran goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, whose contract is set to expire in mid-2027.
