Lautaro Martínez becomes Serie A's highest-paid player

Following the departure of Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, the hierarchy of the highest-paid players in Serie A for the 2026/27 season has shifted. Lautaro Martínez of Inter Milan now holds the top position with a net annual salary of 9 million euros.

Inter Milan players dominate the upper tier of the rankings. Following Martínez, teammates Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Nicolò Barella both earn 6.5 million euros net. Marcus Thuram also earns 6 million euros. Juventus player Kenan Yıldız follows at 6 million euros, marking a significant increase from his previous 1.5 million euro salary following a contract renewal.

Other notable salaries include Alessandro Bastoni, Randal Kolo Muani, and Kevin De Bruyne, who each earn 5.5 million euros. A group of eight players, including Moise Kean, Benjamin Pavard, and Mike Maignan, earn 5 million euros net. The top ten is rounded out by Piotr Zieliński and Teun Koopmeiners at 4.5 million euros.
