LAV association demands inclusion in Ragusa environmental monitoring

Representatives of the LAV association in Ragusa, Resi Iurato and Biagio Battaglia, have expressed frustration regarding their exclusion from ongoing environmental monitoring activities. While the organization Serges has confirmed that preliminary monitoring, including field observations and camera trapping, is continuing, LAV's involvement has been postponed.

LAV representatives stated that they intend to submit official names for census activities immediately to ensure their participation is real and direct. They criticized the current approach as obstructive, arguing that they should be involved in the process now rather than being called in only after protocols and methods have already been established by the Forestry service.
