Lava to increase smartphone prices in India by up to ₹3,000
Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has announced that it will increase prices across its smartphone portfolio by up to ₹3,000, effective November 15, 2026. The company attributed the price revision to persistent global shortages of memory components, such as RAM and NAND flash storage, which have increased procurement costs for original equipment manufacturers.
While the company has not released a specific model-by-model breakdown of the increases, the adjustment will apply to both online and offline retail channels nationwide. Lava has encouraged consumers planning to upgrade their devices to take advantage of current festive promotions and existing stock available at previous rates before the new pricing takes effect.
Some reports suggest that premium models or devices with specific RAM and storage configurations may see higher price jumps. Current inventory remains available at existing promotional rates through major e-commerce platforms and retail networks until the mid-November deadline.
