Lava Virat Curve 5G launches in India with rear mini-screen

Lava has launched the Virat Curve 5G in India, with sales beginning on Flipkart. The device is positioned in the mid-range market, featuring a unique design element: a secondary mini-screen located near the rear camera module. This small display allows users to view notifications, battery percentage, volume, and time without unlocking the main screen.

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED primary display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery. For photography, the device includes a 50MP Sony IMX752 main camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and support for 2K video recording, alongside a 13MP front camera.

The single variant offered includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the official price is set at ₹23,999, the effective launch price is ₹19,999 following applicable bank offers. The phone is available in three colors: Heritage Indigo, Makrana Ivory, and Ellora Slate.
