Laval highway 440 closures scheduled for structural inspections

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced nighttime closures on Highway 440 (Jean-Noël-Lavoie) in Laval from September 21 to September 23, 2026. These closures are required to conduct structural inspections on the highway.

Specific disruptions include the closure of Highway 440 westbound at Route 125 (Pie-IX Boulevard) on the night of September 21, as well as various closures affecting the eastbound direction and service roads on the night of September 22. Temporary signage will be used to mark detour routes. Work schedules may be subject to change based on weather conditions or operational constraints.
