Lavalle Municipality announces debt relief plan with up to 80% discount

The Municipality of Lavalle has launched a debt regularization plan offering discounts of up to 80% on moratory interest. Valid until December 31, the program applies to obligations due until June 30, 2026, covering commercial, real estate, cemetery services, and debts currently in judicial collection.

Under Ordinance 1300/26, taxpayers can receive the maximum 80% discount by making a single lump-sum payment. Alternative financing options include three interest-free installments with a 50% discount, six installments with a 25% discount, or up to nine installments without interest discounts. All installment plans require a minimum down payment equivalent to one installment, and no individual installment may be less than $1,500. For debts in judicial proceedings, legal fees may also be financed in up to three payments.
