Lavalleja prepares for 11th March for Diversity

Authorities and the Colectivo Diversidad Lavalleja have announced the 11th March for Diversity, scheduled to take place on October 3 in the city of Minas. The event is part of the Month of Diversity in Lavalleja and is intended as a space for celebration, reflection, and the vindication of rights to promote a society free of discrimination and violence.

During a press conference, Intendant Daniel Ximénez highlighted the long-standing nature of the march and the institutional work required to foster awareness. Additionally, the departmental director of the Ministry of Social Development (MIDES), Ana Laura Soiza, announced the formation of the Departmental Council for Sexual Diversity, a collaborative space involving the Colectivo Diversidad Lavalleja and various health and education institutions.
