L’Avant-scène opéra resumes publication

The French-language musical periodical L’Avant-scène opéra has resumed publication following a period of cessation. The revival was supported by the mobilization of readers, artists, and opera directors, specifically through the involvement of Olyrix founder Damien Dutilleul.

The bimonthly magazine, known for its detailed presentations of lyrical works, now includes a digital platform available via subscription. This platform provides access to current and archived issues, supplemented by audio and video extracts, photographs, and additional information. Each volume focuses on a specific opera, offering full librettos, listening guides, and scholarly articles from musicologists and historians.
