Lavapeludos launches Spain's first automatic pet wash in Madrid's El Cañaveral

Lavapeludos opened the first self‑service pet wash in Spain, located at C/ Cerro del Tesoro 5 in the El Cañaveral district of Madrid. The facility lets owners bathe dogs or cats without an appointment for as little as €5.

The station provides a raised professional bathtub, adjustable hot water, veterinary‑grade shampoo, antiparasitic treatment, a professional dryer and a final fragrance. After each use the tub and base are disinfected, and the venue uses an ozone system to reduce bacteria, viruses, fungi and odors.

Open daily from 09:30 to 21:30, the service accepts cash and card and operates without reservations or waiting times. Customers have praised the cleanliness, convenience and time savings, giving the centre a five‑star rating after hundreds of pets have been washed.
