Laveno Mombello to remove twenty dangerous trees
The municipal administration of Laveno Mombello, led by Mayor Bruno Bresciani, has announced the planned removal of twenty trees in public spaces. This decision follows a detailed technical assessment conducted by an agronomist, which classified the trees as unstable and dangerous.
The administration stated that the intervention is necessary to prevent risks to citizens, passersby, and public or private property, citing recent incidents in neighboring municipalities where falling trees caused material damage and serious injuries. To mitigate environmental impact, the municipality has committed to replacing the removed trees in the same location or in more suitable areas once the ground has been remediated.
