Lavrio Port to host concert honoring Mikis Theodorakis

The Attica Region and the Mikis Theodorakis Folk Orchestra are co-organizing a concert titled ‘Magic Night’ at the Port of Lavrio. The event is held to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the death of the renowned Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis.

The musical program will feature various folk, romantic, and lyrical songs that have become part of Greek collective memory. Performers include Giota Nega, Savveria Margiola, and Angelos Theodorakis, the composer’s grandson, accompanied by the Folk Orchestra. Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias noted that Theodorakis’s work has become a part of the history and collective memory of the Greek people.
