Lavrov blames Europe for Ukraine borders as Slovak prosecutors clear military aid probe

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov addressed the UN Security Council regarding the situation in Ukraine, alleging that European interference and unfulfilled promises by the Ukrainian opposition led to changes in Ukraine's borders. Lavrov claimed that without European involvement in 2004 and 2014, Ukraine would have remained within its 1991 borders, with the exception of Crimea.

In Slovakia, the General Prosecutor's Office has concluded its review into the donation of military equipment to Ukraine. The investigation, which focused on the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets, KUB launch systems, and radar stations, found no evidence of criminal activity. The probe examined decisions made by the former government of Eduard Heger and concluded that the actions of the Ministry of Defense did not constitute a crime.
