Law and Justice holds ‘Awakening’ conference for 2027 program

The Law and Justice (PiS) party held its ‘Awakening’ program conference to advance its platform for the 2027 parliamentary elections. Party leader Jarosław Kaczyński outlined a series of upcoming thematic conferences scheduled for September and early October, covering topics such as agriculture, youth issues, the military, and public finance.

Przemysław Czarnek, the PiS candidate for Prime Minister, summarized his nationwide meetings and presented four of the party's twenty-one planned program objectives. These include exiting the EU ETS system, raising the second PIT tax threshold to 180,000 PLN, implementing ‘silver work’ policies to support working retirees without raising the retirement age, and a commitment to investigating alleged legal violations and scandals occurring under the current coalition government.
