Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly threatens Canada in viral letter
A letter allegedly sent by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to Canadian authorities has surfaced following an Access to Information Act request. The document, which was part of an immigration hearing file, was addressed to Canada’s defence minister, army, and police via the Abbotsford Police Department.
In the letter, the gang claims to have “more than 5000 gang member in Canada” and asserts they possess “more guns” than the police. The text, which contains numerous spelling and punctuation errors, issues a challenge to Canadian authorities, stating, “we will rule in CANADA now” and “you will see we will takeover CANADA soon.”
The disclosure follows recent enforcement actions by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), which deported five Indian-origin men, including Karamveer Singh, a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi. These individuals were deported under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act due to alleged links to organized crime and extortion-related violence.
Investigations have also identified individuals such as Amitoz Bajwa and Sahibjot Singh as part of an Edmonton-based network accused of involvement in shootings and threats across Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia.
