Lawrence football defeats Fryeburg Academy 27-14

The Lawrence football team defeated Fryeburg Academy 27-14 in a Class B North matchup at Keyes Field in Fairfield. The Bulldogs relied heavily on their ground game, accumulating 320 rushing yards to secure the victory and improve their record to 2-0.

Key contributors included senior running back Keegan Littlefield, who rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown, and junior running back Jaiden Hebert, who recorded 116 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Dangler also contributed with a rushing touchdown and 51 yards on the ground.

The win allowed Lawrence to avenge a loss to Fryeburg from the previous season's Class B North semifinals. Coach Pete Curtis emphasized the team's physical approach and the effectiveness of the offensive line in facilitating the running game.
