Lawrence man accused of Trinitarios gang drug conspiracy

Jhesy Rodríguez, a 31-year-old resident of Lawrence, has been charged in a Massachusetts federal court for his alleged involvement in a multi-year drug distribution conspiracy. Rodríguez, known by the alias ‘J Sav’, is accused of being a member of the Lawrence chapter of the Trinitarios gang.

According to federal prosecutors, Rodríguez allegedly continued distributing drugs while under judicial supervision for a state firearms case, even while wearing a GPS monitoring device. During a September search warrant execution in Lawrence, authorities seized three firearms, several cell phones, and approximately 10 grams of counterfeit Percocet pills containing fentanyl.

Court documents also indicate that witnesses identified Rodríguez as a participant in two shootings linked to the organization, occurring in Lynn and Lawrence. While these incidents have not been filed as additional charges in the current federal indictment, they are noted in the investigation. Rodríguez faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a minimum of three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to one million dollars.
