Lawson Japan launches new luxury and budget-focused food series

Lawson has launched a new series of food products in Japan under the themes of “extreme luxury” and “single-point breakthrough.” The “extreme luxury” lineup features high-quality ingredients and generous portions, including a pork ramen topped with three types of meat—pork belly chashu, chicken chashu, and roasted pork—priced at 797 yen.

Other luxury items include a seafood pescatore with shrimp, squid, and clams, as well as a chocolate pie cream puff using Belgian chocolate. The “single-point breakthrough” series focuses on simplicity and cost-effectiveness by concentrating on a single main ingredient, such as a spicy keema curry bento or a corn-topped rice bowl, aimed at reducing prices compared to standard bento boxes.
